a series that reinterprets Japanese Taisho-era modern aesthetics through a contemporary and pop-oriented design perspective.

Featuring thistle (Azami) motifs as the main element,
this design combines graphic stripe compositions (Shima) with decorative ivy motifs,
creating a bold, rhythmic, and pop-modern visual expression.

Rather than simply reproducing traditional patterns,
this artwork was created by reinterpreting the ornamental richness and modern sensibility of the Taisho era
as contemporary graphic textile design,
resulting in an artistic modern Japanese textile with a strong visual presence.
