ABOUT ME
Brand Statement
VINTIQ is a textile design label that reimagines textiles as a form of cultural expression, combining the perspective of a costume designer with AI-assisted creative processes.
Rooted in Japanese visual culture — including kimono patterns, traditional ornamentation, botanical painting, and dyeing aesthetics — VINTIQ draws from the symbolic language of Japanese design while embracing the imaginative worlds found in manga, subculture, and fantasy that shape Japan’s contemporary creative identity.
Standing at the intersection of Art Nouveau, Taisho Modern aesthetics, pop art, Western art history, contemporary design, and digital culture, VINTIQ explores textile expressions that move beyond conventional interpretations of “Japanese style.”
In the creative process, AI is used as a tool to expand ideas and open new visual possibilities.
We believe in working hand in hand with AI — forming a creative partnership that explores new visual worlds while maintaining the importance of human judgment and artistic sensibility.
The essence of the work lies not in AI generation itself, but in what humans choose, interpret, and reconstruct.
That process of selection and aesthetic decision-making is at the core of the expression.
VINTIQ textiles are designed to function across both physical and digital environments.
They can be used in traditional contexts such as fabric production, costume design, and interior applications, while also supporting digital creative fields including illustration, virtual fashion, digital costumes, 3D environments, and metaverse experiences.
By moving across the boundaries between craft and technology, tradition and future, and physical and digital space, VINTIQ proposes a new form of textile expression evolving from Japanese culture.
