KikuYabane is a textile design that combines two traditional Japanese motifs — kiku (chrysanthemum) and yabane (traditional arrow-feather motif) — reinterpreting the decorative elegance of Taisho Modern through a bold, contemporary sensibility.

The flowing movement of chrysanthemum petals layered against the sharp, rhythmic geometry of the yabane pattern creates a composition where grace and strength coexist.

As part of the Taisho Pop Deco Collection, this design draws from Japan’s retro-modern visual heritage while reimagining it through vivid color and confident structure — edited for contemporary expression rather than historical reproduction.

Rather than remaining a purely classical Japanese pattern, KikuYabane is reconstructed as a graphic, high-impact design that works across costume, interior, and digital creative contexts.
