Kiku Butterfly -KIMONO Renaissance Collection
Kiku Butterfly KIMONO Renaissance Collection
Product Description Kiku Butterfly is a textile design featuring the traditional Japanese motifs of chrysanthemums (Kiku) and butterflies. In Japanese culture, the chrysanthemum is known as a flower symbolizing longevity and grace, while the butterfly has been depicted as a symbol of change, rebirth, and elegance.
In this work, the structure of chrysanthemum flowers drawn with delicate lines is combined with lightly fluttering butterfly motifs, reconstructing Japanese decorative beauty into a modern composition. Decorative expressions reminiscent of gold leaf (K彩/Kintsai), the flow of overlapping leaves, and layers of soft colors create a glamorous and highly dimensional visual. It is not merely a reproduction of traditional patterns, but a work that reinterprets the decorative and structural beauty of Japanese kimono culture as modern design.
This product includes 6 background color variations. By changing the background color or toggling visibility, you can develop the design according to your specific needs. It supports cross-physical and digital applications, including apparel and fashion, interior design/wallpaper/art panels, as well as digital art, 3D, and virtual spaces.

About the Collection KIMONO Renaissance Collection This is a textile series that reconstructs the decorative and structural beauty of Japanese kimono culture into modern design. Based on traditional Japanese aesthetics such as flower-and-bird patterns (Kacho-monyo), the line expressions of Yuzen dyeing, and the decorative nature of gold leaf, the designs are re-engineered into textiles that can be applied to modern fashion, spatial design, and digital expression. Rather than reproducing tradition, "reconstructing the aesthetic consciousness of the kimono into future design"—that is the core concept of the KIMONO Renaissance Collection.
